- The Rinehart family is an adoptive family at Lifeline. Joe and Dr. Brenda Rinehart have nine children and nine grandchildren. Dr. Brenda Rinehart works as a Doctor of Psychology. Joe works for Cisco Systems. They adopted three of their children who have Down syndrome from China.
